Join artist Sandi Woods at the lovely College Hill Farm Art Studio for a full day of Art Revolving Around Nature!
SATURDAY, APRIL 13TH 10AM-4PM
AT THE BEAUTIFUL COLLEGE HILL FARM AND ART STUDIO IN OXFORD, MS The beautiful College Hill Farm Art Studio is set on a gorgeous 750 acres of serene natural forest, full of wildlife and walking trails, it’s the perfect setting to create.
In this six hour workshop we will bring art and nature together to create wonderful one of a kind art journals, and prayer (or wish) scrolls using gathered items from nature, mark making, gel printing and more!
The day will begin with a short meet and greet with pastries, tea and coffee. Then it’s off into the forest as we forage and gather bit of nature for our projects. We will play with gel printing to create beautiful prints of the items we gathered in nature, create our own mark making tools and make lovely marks on all different types of papers to incorporate into our journals and scrolls. In the afternoon we will all go outside (weather permitting) and have a lovely picnic lunch together before assembling our journals and scrolls.
10am - Meet and Greet and Pastries
10:30am - Forage through the beautiful 750 acres for bits of nature
11am - Handmade Art Mark Tools with foraged items
11:30am - Gel Plate printing with natural elements
12:30 - A beautiful picnic lunch
1:30pm - Mark making with our newly made tools and Sketches of Nature
2:30pm - Assemble our Art Journals
3:30pm - Make our Prayer (or wish) Scrolls
4:00pm - The day has come to an end
Come and create at the beautiful College Hill Farm Art Studio in Oxford MS. All supplies and lunch are included. Space is limited.
Please bring comfortable walking shoes, an apron or something you don’t mind getting a little paint on and, if you wish, anything from nature you may have already gathered from your own backyard. I can’t wait to see you all!!
Once you have paid, the exact address to The Cottage Hill Farm will be sent to you. Get the early bird price of $150 now! Price will go up to $175 after March 16th. Last day to sign up is April 6th. Workshops are not refundable. You are able to transfer your paid spot to another person. Please notify us of any change by email.
